Youth Yoga + Mindfulness Programs

In addition to our weekly studio class schedules, we can bring our youth programs to you to accommodate your special needs!

Our Youth Yoga + Mindfulness Programs can be offered in a variety of settings and forms including:

Youth Yoga + Mindfulness Summer + Day Camps

Sol & Skye’s Youth Yoga + Mindfulness camps are intentionally designed around different empowering weekly themes and incorporate body, mind, and breath for each little “sol” through:

  • Yoga Poses
  • Arts + Crafts
  • Games
  • Mindfulness Activities
  • Outdoor Play
  • and lots more fun!

It is so much more than “just yoga” and offers something for everyone to enjoy!

Youth Dance Classes

Creative Movement (5 – 6 Yrs):

A nice introductory class for kids wanting to learn the foundations of dance in a fun, playful, and welcoming environment. This class encourages students to explore movement through music and prop play.  Creative Movement will teach kids basic dance steps, while leaving room for creativity which will help children develop coordination, balance, rhythm, and self-expression.

Beginner Jazz/Hip-Hop
for Kids (7 – 10 Yrs):

A beginner level dance class that combines jazz and hip-hop styles. This class will teach kids basic movements and dance combinations and give them the opportunity to grow their skills and passion for dance in a fun, inclusive, and low-pressure way. Seasonal yet optional performances may occur throughout sessions to showcase what students have learned.

Adult Classes

Dance Cardio Class (18+)

An upbeat cardio style dance class which incorporates jazz/hip-hop movements designed for all levels, followed by a wind-down stretch + meditative relaxation. This class is meant to meet you where you are and be a place where you can let go and express yourself in a supportive and uplifting environment. No dance experience is necessary to have a great time!  

 

Adult ALL Abilities Yoga

This class is designed to support both the mind and body through gentle/all-levels yoga poses, meditation strategies, mindfulness practices, and even the opportunity to engage in creative expressions and community building exercises.
