Beginner to Intermediate Level
This workshop is an invitation to slow down, relax, and enjoy watercolor without pressure or expectations.
January Workshop: We will be bringing in the New Year by painting abstract washes for a meditative and calming experience.
February Workshop: We will be painting atmospheric florals and allowing the paint and water to blend and move across the page.
March Workshop: We will be painting a Spring-inspired project using fresh colors to welcome in the Spring season.

Hello, I’m Christy Maurer, a local watercolor artist and teacher. I believe watercolor is not just about putting paint to paper, but about learning to listen, soften, and trust the process.
By letting go of expectations and allowing the water to move freely, painting becomes a calming and sometimes surprising experience. My hope is to help others relax into the process and enjoy the moment. No pressure or comparison, just play and reconnecting with our own magic and creative voice.
